Apple Watch Makes Exercise Smarter, But Recovery Features Lag Behind

Apple Watch Makes Exercise Smarter, But Recovery Features Lag Behind

One of the most notable features of Apple's recently released watchOS 26 is Workout Buddy, your AI fitness coach. A wrist-worn device that functions as a personal trainer.
What it does:
provide encouraging feedback while working out
identifies milestones
provides post-exercise reports.
Encouraged exercises:
Running
Strolling
Riding a bicycle
HIIT
Strength training, both traditional and functional
There's only one issue: saunas and cold plunges aren't included (yet).
Apple, we understand. The "frozen my soul for three minutes" workout isn't for everyone. However, we fully anticipate a "Plunge Mode" alongside cycling in a year.

Meet the XENSURI App, your real cold therapy buddy in the moment
Our software is intended for you, the plungers,  and health enthusiasts who understand
that true growth occurs during recuperation. It can perform the following:
1.App Availability & Basic Controls (1/3P Only)
You can download the XENSURI app directly for your 1/3P cold plunge. It lets you use basic features like cooling mode, temperature adjustment, and timed on/off scheduling, making it easy to manage your sessions from anywhere.
2.New Features for the 1P Model
The upcoming 1P cold plunge app builds on the 1/3P version and adds heating mode, cleaning mode, water flow monitoring, and ozone sterilization timing. These improvements give you better control over your recovery and make maintenance simpler.
3.Remote Control & Scheduling
Set temperatures, schedule start and stop times, and switch between modes remotely. This makes each session flexible and convenient to fit your routine.
4.Water & Device Maintenance
Use the 1P app’s cleaning mode and ozone sterilization timing features to keep your plunge in good condition. You can also monitor water flow to ensure proper circulation and cleanliness.

Since Apple may not yet allow your exercise partner to join you. You can still use the XENSURI app to turn cold water into a full-body reset.
The XENSURI app for controlling the 1/3P cold plunge is already available for download, and the 1P app is coming soon—stay tuned!
